From Einstein to Batman: this chatbot lets you talk to celebrities and fictional characters

AI is an artificial intelligence chatbot that is based on neural language models powered by a supercomputer.

Character.AI is a new chatbot with conversational artificial intelligence (AI) that allows users to talk to any celebrity, whether real or fictional.

Daniel De Freitas and Noam Shazier (two developers who worked for Google) are the protagonists of this creation, in addition, they explain on the system’s website that they intend to give life to “the science fiction dream of open conversations and collaborations with computers.”

Both point out that with Character.AI they have built the “next generation of dialog agents” from the ground up and with their technology.

This AI has various applications (entertainment, education, and general answers). It is similar to ChatGPT and based on neural language models driven by a supercomputer and those interested can talk to any famous person who is alive or not, or imaginary.

Those celebrities can respond in a similar way to what they could answer in real life since the information processed is related to the characters they imitate.

Likewise, artificial intelligence collects news, articles, essays, and other texts that detail how these people think so that the answers are as accurate as possible.

Among other functions, Character.AI also allows Internet users to chat with chatbots in sections related to psychology, games, or even coaches. On the other hand, Character.

AI offers users to create new characters as it appears on its website. It has a ‘Create’ section where you can see characters that have been programmed by other users.

The developers warn that bots “can make things up” in their conversations, so their responses should not be taken seriously.
