  • The special thing about BharOS is that this operating system is considered very safe for the users. Secure because no app can be installed in it without your permission. Whichever Android user is there in India today, many apps are already installed in their phones.
  • You can run any app according to your choice in BHAROS key, which reduces the chances of your security breach. Meaning, you can also run a search engine instead of Google.
  • In this, you will have to install YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc. apps separately, which means you will not get them already installed.
  • As there are some apps in your mobile which you cannot uninstall, this will not happen in BharOS. It is your choice whether you keep it installed in your phone or not.

Which phones will support BharOS?

BharOS is an Indian made operating system which claims to be privacy centric and indigenous. So far the developers have not shared who they are planning to partner with but this OS can provide to those organizers who need security and privacy.

1- PASS (Private App Store Service)
PASS (Private App Store Service) This feature is just like Play Store so that you can install any app in your phone with PASS means you will be able to install apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. in your phone.
PASS will meet the privacy and security concerns of any organization and user.

2- NDA (non default app)
BharOS will come with NDA (non default app), means you will not get any app preinstalled in which users can install and uninstall apps.

3- NOTA (Native over the air)
This is an update feature that will automatically update the OS and apps in the users’ mobile.

Updates will be automatically downloaded to the phone so that the user will not need to update anything manually. It will be exactly like Android.

It is a matter of great pride for us that this step will go a long way in making our country self-reliant and we will not have to compromise on safety and security as before.
