The former “Tory” leader received an advance payment of 2,488,387 pounds (2,786,993 euros) from the Harry Walker agency in New York for giving a series of lectures in the future.

That agency represents prominent figures in US politics, including former presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

According to the income register, to which British deputies are required to declare, Johnson also entered last January 246,406 pounds (277,699 euros) from Bloomberg Singapore and 200,892 pounds (226,405 euros) from Aditya Birla Management, an Indian company, for giving speeches.
