Likewise, Johnson has declared an advance of 510,000 pounds (571,200 euros) from the publisher HarperCollins to publish some memoirs that narrate his three-year period as head of the government during the Brexit negotiations and the covid-19 pandemic.

Last month he declared that he received a million pounds (1.12 million euros) from Christopher Harborne, a businessman who had supported Brexit and that the former leader has now allocated to the so-called Boris Johnson Office, established to finance the activity public office of the politician and which has some employees, according to the media.

Johnson was forced to announce his resignation last July – which he made effective in September – as a result of pressure on him due to various scandals, including parties at the official Downing Street residence during the pandemic.
