Joe Biden blames his employees for the scandal of classified documents: “They did not do the job they should have done”
According to Biden, the workers should have made sure of the content of the documents before moving them.
The president of the United States, Joe Biden, blamed this Wednesday the employees who were in charge of collecting his offices for the scandal of the classified documents that have been found in different places frequented by the Democrat.
“What happened is that when they packed up my offices to move them, they didn’t do the work that they should have done to make sure they checked all the papers that were there,” Trump said in an interview on PBS.
The classified documents scandal, which began last January when it was revealed that Biden’s lawyers had found and delivered to the Department of Justice classified files from his time as vice president, has weighed on the president at a sweet moment due to good employment data.
Since then there have been several times that the US government has announced the discovery of more documents. On January 12, the Secretary of Justice, Merrick Garland, announced the appointment of a special prosecutor who will study all the classified papers found, the conservative Robert Hur.

So far, classified papers have been found in two offices frequented by Biden and at his home in Wilmington, Delaware, but not at his home in Rehoboth, in the same state, where the FBI searched last week.
The case has drawn comparisons with the search of the Mar-a-Lago (Florida) residence of former President Donald Trump (2017-2021), although in the latter case, the FBI had to search the house because Trump refused to cooperate with the investigation.
In Biden’s case, it was he who invited the FBI to search his home, as confirmed in the interview with PBS, and the White House has insisted on several occasions that the president is fully cooperating with the investigation.
Under US law, all of an administration’s files must be turned over to the National Archives, which is responsible for safeguarding presidential documents.
