Kate Middleton Shares Rare Details About Her Daily Exercise Routine
Kate Middleton doesn’t have much time to run to the gym, so she finds other ways to fit her busy schedule into a workout.
As a sponsor of the Rugby Football League – a role she took over from Prince Harry – the Princess of Wales recently hosted a reception for the English wheelchair Rugby League team to celebrate their November World Cup win against France.
For the event, Kate Middleton wore a maroon Roland Mouret gown that she also debuted during her December tour of Boston. She combined it with a pink sweater, gold earrings, and a citrine pendant with a special meaning.
When asked about her exercise routine, the princess gave credit to her three children: nine-year-old Prince George, seven-year-old Princess Charlotte, and four-year-old Prince Louis.
According to the Daily Mirror, she reportedly added, “It’s chasing after the kids,” on January 19. “I work out whenever I can, and before my kids leave for school, I even bounce on the trampoline with them.”
Although the princess may not play rugby regularly, she told the group that she would “love to come to play” and that she plans to host a “family training session”.
“Prince Louis in particular is a big fan of this contact sport: “We’re always a bit competitive with each other,” Middleton told the players, “everyone loves the sport, and Louis is crazy about rugby. They are at an age where they love to run.”
While watching the World Cup finals on television with Prince William and their children, the Princess of Wales attended the quarter-finals in early November, marking her first match as royal patron of the league. She inherited the role in February 2022, two years after Prince Harry stepped down from his royal duties.
